Overview

Psychic detective seeks rigid unbeliever for impossible romance. Yoga a plus. Kevin Quinn is living with new psychic abilities he refers to as the 'gift that keeps on taking.' His attempts to use his talents to help the police meet with limited success. Yet, when teenage boys go missing from Southern California beach cities, Kevin gets on a plane to his hometown, where he faces his father, who turned his back on Kevin once before. Connor Dougal has every reason to believe all psychics are fakes and charlatans. He's still numb from the disappearance of his first love, a boy who went missing ten years earlier. Kevin isn't comfortable with his gift, and unresolved family matters make things more difficult for him. Despite their differences, Connor and Kevin begin falling for each other as they work the case. Can Connor overcome the tragedy of his first love and reach for the man who will love him forever?

Author Information

Z. A. Maxfield started writing in 2007 on a dare from her children and never looked back. Her books include Honky Tonk Hellion, Crossing Borders, and the Plummet to Soar series. Pathologically disorganized and perennially optimistic, she writes as much as she can, reads as much as she dares, and enjoys her time with family and friends. Three things reverberate throughout all her stories: unconditional love, redemption, and the belief that awesome things happen when we open our hearts and open our minds. If anyone asks her how a wife and mother of four can find time for a writing career, she'll answer, ""It's amazing what you can accomplish if you give up housework."" J. F. Harding is an audiobook narrator of romance and erotica, with nearly 200 titles and counting. From MC tough-guys to lonesome cowboys, he lends his versatile voice to bestselling love (and sometimes just lust) stories from the steamiest writers. J. F.
