The Lone Warrior

Overview

When the ocean swallowed the world, the truth floated to the surface. The world did not end with a bang, but with a slow drown. Glaciers melted, and ancient cities became underwater graveyards. New York is now a kingdom of salt and rust, where skyscrapers are islands for survivors, and the deep waters are a breeding ground for monsters and thieves. In this harsh world lives Emilia, a young girl who has learned to trust her katana more than humans. She lives a quiet, cautious life with her family in a fortified tower, until the day mysterious soldiers in black armor attack, destroying everything she owns and killing her father in search of an ancient legacy. Emilia finds herself on the run with her younger brother, in possession of a mysterious ""black cylinder""-the key to forgotten technology that could save the world... or sink it entirely. Emilia begins a journey of revenge and survival, taking her from floating scrap markets to desolate ship graveyards, where she awakens an unexpected ally: Ronin, a giant war machine from an ancient era.
