Through beautiful illustrations and memorable characters, Mari encourages readers to believe in themselves, embrace who they are, and find joy along the way, even in the face of life's challenges. Sprout, Rooty, Digger, Sparkle, and Weaver are just the beginning of a world full of wonder, created to delight young readers, with more magical characters on the horizon. Mari lives in Illinois with her husband, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. She enjoys spending time with her family and her six grandchildren, and loves exploring new languages, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good book. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA.
