"Cody is a remarkable little dog. From day one I started taking notes on his actions and reactions. I would discuss his actions of the day with my brother and he also started paying attention to Cody's talents. At family gatherings I would share comments from the journal that I was keeping on Cody's actions. Family members were very impressed with his talents and he was never short of showing off his skills. As time went by my brother suggested that I write a book about Cody. I hesitated at first but finally I started the book. After a year I showed the manuscript to several family members and friends and I must say they enjoyed reading it. Over five years I have written three books on Cody and I am still writing. He supplies me with material every day and I just keep putting his actions on paper. This book is the first edition and it is covers Cody from age eight weeks through one year. I do hope you enjoy reading ""The little red dog in the box"" as much as I enjoyed writing it."
