"Sam Garcia was born in Gav�, Spain in 1978. After inheriting his passion for indie comics from his father, Sam worked for 15 years as a graphic designer in the comic industry. Sam's first book, ""Bonjour Paris"" (released by Spanish publisher Dibbuks), led him to take up cartooning full-time. In 2009, he met publisher Thierry Joor and author Sophie Ansel, forming a very effective partnership. Their book, ""Lunes Birmanes"", published by �ditions Delcourt in France in 2012, has been highly acclaimed by the public and critics alike.

 Sam also works in the videogame industry, creating illustrations and designs under the name ""SamCube""."
