Steiner MD, MPH, is a general pediatrician at North Carolina Children’s Hospital and the University of North Carolina. He serves as the Division Director for General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and the Director of Outreach and Network Development for the Department of Pediatrics. Previously, he has worked in a variety of settings from rural primary care to urban academic settings. He currently sees patients in primary care, a complex care referral clinic, hospitalized children, and in the newborn nursery. This is the first book he has co-authored, but has over 40 papers and chapters across a broad group of topics. Kelly S. Kimple, MD, MPH, is a general pediatrician at North Carolina Children's Hospital and the University of North Carolina. In addition to pediatrics, she has also completed training in preventive medicine and public health.
