Author Information

Dr. Andy Evans is a nature enthusiast whose love for the outdoors and reading began in his childhood. He earned a PhD in Software Engineering and worked as a lecturer before founding a successful software business. Now an investor and mentor in tech startups, Andy lives in Sheffield, UK, with his family. His role as a carer for his son Michael, who is on the autism spectrum, and the arrival of his granddaughter rekindled his passion for storytelling. This children's book marks his debut in children's literature, blending his love for nature and creative writing . Raised in Suffolk, Lucy Fleming's fascination with nature sparked in childhood as she sketched local landscapes and creatures. Lucy graduated with a Distinction in MA Animation and with a BA (hons) in Animation and Illustration. Lucy's art, ranging from intricate creatures to whimsical sketches, draws inspiration from the wonders of our world and the people who craft captivating stories. Lucy also lives in Sheffield.
