Overview

This book focuses on the battles of mental illness and addiction. Although I have not faced addiction to the point that some people have; I know a lot of people who have struggled. This is written for those people that feel alone. I have almost fallen into addiction multiple times, but I have been lucky enough to have a support system to help me. Some people are not so lucky and deserve to have support. I hope this book of poems helps someone in need.

I am 25 years old and have always struggled with mental illness. I started writing as a way to express my feelings. I want to share them with the world, so that others with mental illness know they are not alone. Writing has been a support system that is always there for me.
