Overview

The huge amount of research she carried out for this novel not only broadened her knowledge of music, but gave her a solid understanding of the music industry, which is an integral part of the book. She is also a history buff - the 4 'time capsules' scattered throughout the book detail the state of the world for each of the 4 decades of Tom's life.
