Overview

This is the story of Dylan Schloss, who comes from a prominent family in the Kleindeutschland district of New York City. Due to his father's political connections, he receives an appointment to West Point, where, in his third year, he is asked to leave for disciplinary reasons. Feeling like he disgraced his family, he heads west and joins the Mounted Riflemen right before the war with Mexico, with the hope of redeeming himself. During the war, he is awarded many honors for bravery. After the war, he ended up in Texas riding with the Texas Rangers. Along the way, he finds love again. This time with a beautiful young Apache lady. They have three children, and when Comancheros killed his wife Satinka and youngest daughter, he changed. From that point on, he became, as many would say, a cold-blooded killer called Daman Diablo, and others will call him a hero. You decide.
