St. Philomena was a Greek Princess and early Church martyr. Relics of St. Philomena were discovered in the Roman catacombs in the early 19th century. Almost immediately thereafter, and consistently since that time, many miracles have been attributed to her intercession. They continue to this day. She brings all of her devotees to close communion with Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Most Holy and Blessed Virgin Mary.
