Palmer Hall (BS, Lamar University; MLS, Ph.D., English, University of Texas, Austin) is Director of Libraries and Instructional Services, St. Mary's University, San Antonio, TX. His publications include articles on librarianship and on the literature and films of the Vietnam War. A tenured full professor, he has served on his faculty senate for the past eight years. Caroline Byrd (BS, Texas Tech; MLS, Texas Woman's University; MA, St. Mary's) is Assistant Director and Systems Administrator at the Academic Library, St. Mary's. Her publications include articles on lighthouses, community property law, and library automation. She is a member of the faculty senate and serves on numerous university committees.
