Overview...Everyone steps into a job with a heart full of hope - the simple, earnest wish that life will become a little more secure. But once they get the job, some people spend their time harming others-blocking their rights, and doing things that prevent others from getting what they deserve. As per the Right to Information Act, an applicant must receive a reply within 30 days. But when we look at the dates on which some replies actually arrive, it almost feels as if a few officers have interpreted the rule to mean that the reply must be given only on the 30th day. Still, I must say with happiness that there are many sincere officers who respond promptly and truthfully. I was never someone who blindly believed in the idea of ""karma"" or the law of consequences. Even so, I wish to share a few experiences related to it. Over the years, I have noticed some officers-those who once blocked my rightful benefits-showing a change of mind later. Their change of attitude surprised me greatly. And I have seen something else too - people who denied the rights of others during their years of service, later sitting in the silence of retirement with sadness in their eyes. Slowly, through these moments, a quiet belief took shape in me: perhaps the law of karma cannot be dismissed after all. Perhaps life has its own way of balancing what we do...
