Overview

George Boole, an English mathematician, philosopher, educator, and logician. He has worked in the fields of algebraic logic and differential equations he is very well known as the author of the book The Laws of Thought that contains Boolean algebra. Boolean logic is credited as the foundations for the information age. Boole stated that: No general approach for the solution of questions in the theory of probabilities can be established that does not explicitly recognize. Not only the particular numerical basis of the science, and also those universal rules of thought which are the foundation of all reasoning, and, whatever they may be as to their nature, are at least scientific as to their form.
