Prior to joining the Section in 1989, he practised corporate and commercial law with Fasken & Calvin (now Fasken Campbell Godfrey) in Toronto. At the law school, Professor VanDuzer teaches various courses in business law including Commercial Law, Business Associations, Advanced Business Law and International Business Transactions. In the past few years, Professor VanDuzer has been invited to give seminars on international business and trade law in Beijing, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min City, Moscow, and Bishkek Kyrgyzstan, as well as at the Université de Montpellier. For several years, he also taught in the University of Ottawa's Executive MBA program. Professor VanDuzer's publications include books on corporate law and merger notification under the Canadian Competition Act and articles on various business and trade law issues.
