Salacuse is Distinguished Professor and Henry J. Braker Professor of Law at The Fletcher School, Tufts University. He served as Dean of The Fletcher School for nine years and was previously Dean of the Southern Methodist University Law School. He has been Visiting Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, held the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Comparative Law in Italy, and was a visiting professor in the United Kingdom, France, and Spain He has also been a lecturer in law at Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, a Wall Street lawyer, professor and research director at the National School of Administration, Congo, the Ford Foundation¹s Middle East advisor on law and development based in Lebanon, and later the Foundation's representative in Sudan. Salacuse is the author of twenty-one books and numerous articles and has served as president and member of international arbitration tribunals of the World Bank's International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
