Overview

Author Information

Jakob Vedelsby is the author of seven novels, published in various countries including Denmark, the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, Romania, Russia, China, and Greece. His most recent novel, The Center of the Universe, was published by Spuyten Duyvil in 2025 and is forthcoming in Poland and Bulgaria. An eighth novel is scheduled for publication in Denmark in 2026. A poetry collection and a narrative nonfiction book are currently in progress. His work has received critical acclaim and multiple grants, including from the Danish Arts Foundation. Vedelsby holds an M.A. in Film and Media Studies and has served as Chair of the Danish Authors' Society. He lives in Copenhagen.
