The Last Storyteller: Book Four in The Pearls of Wisdom Series: Stories Inspired by a Biblical Proverb

Overview

When ambition and love collide, only one can prevail. When a forbidden midnight journey leads her and her loyal companions deep into the enchanted Zoe-Chai orchard, they uncover a secret that could change the Chokmahdon Kingdom forever. Meanwhile, a powerful and unfamiliar enemy is rising. An alien bat army seeks the ancient Zoe-Chai tree and the life-giving magic it holds. For the first time in its history, the peaceful kingdom must prepare for war, calling every creature-great and small-to stand and defend what they love. While the kingdom braces for battle, Journee and her friends are sent north on a race against time to retrieve a legendary elven staff, forged long ago to protect the Zoe-Chai tree forever. Their journey leads them into lands of old magic, hidden truth, and an encounter Journee never expected-a zealous queen who looks strikingly like herself. As danger closes in, Journee must face the question she can no longer avoid: Who is she, really? For as fire purifies gold and silver-the tested heart reveals all. In a battle of hearts, wills, and minds, Journee must choose her own destiny before everything she holds dear is lost. Will love triumph over ambition? Inspired by the Proverb, ""Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the Lord tests the heart.""
