OverviewAt the age of five years a Jewish boy named Aharon Levy was traveling with his family in Israel when they were attacked by Palestinian terrorists who murdered Aharon's entire family in his presence. He was saved by the arrival of IDF officers. Many years later Aharon enrolls in medical school where he meets a beautiful Muslim woman, Al Zahra, from Palestine who is also a medical student. Because they are both orthodox they believe they cannot have a romantic friendship so they live as friends yet fall deeply in love with each other. After graduating from medical they go to the Middle East. Aharon becomes a medical officer in the IDF and Al Zahra becomes a professor at a medical school in Iran. War breaks out between Israel and Iran and Aharon is captured behind enemy lines in Iran with a serious gunshot injury. He comes under the care of Al Zahra whom he had not seen in 2 years.
