"Trails are the passageways that connect us to outdoor adventures. The Last Best TRAILS is about year-round real-life human-powered trail sports in the greater Bozeman and Big Sky area. The book has been ""drawn"" from the past six years of exploring ""The Last Best Place"" on foot, bike, and ski. Exploration and adventures shouldn't be limited to the ultra-elite athletes but our public lands. We have all ages and experience levels to celebrate and experience getting out year-round in SW Montana. This book's mission is to start the stoke about our true treasures in this region of the treasure state and give a starting point of how to get the most enjoyment out of each activity safely. Author Information
Bryan Schaeffer was born and raised in Southwest Montana, where he has hiked, skied, biked and canoed with his family and friends. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. Bryan owns the award-winning creative studio SINTR(R), based in Bozeman, where he lives with his wife Anne and three daughters. Along with his family and an-eager-to-explore golden doodle, he enjoys recreating on Montana's public lands. He is the creator of Best of the Northwest, a video and GPS resource for hiking, biking and skiing trails in western Washington which includes over 227 trail videos with affiliated GPS tracks and helpful details about the trails.
