Chris Love was born and raised in South Carolina. He started working at 14 and at 21, he joined the U.S. Army. Chris served honorably for over 4 years, earning many achievements, such as the Purple Heart, for injuries sustained during combat. During his time in the war zone, Chris honed his craft at writing in his downtime. He married his wife in 2009 and exited the Army in 2010. In 2018, Chris was elected as trustee for his village and now serves as deputy mayor. Chris now writes full time while serving his community and his family as a stay at home dad. C.A. Love lives in upstate New York with his wife Lila, and their 4 children, and two cats.
