Robert L. (Bob) Watkins was born in a humble railroad town of Clifton Forge Virginia; he grew up in Orlando, Florida with his twin brother (Thomas Lee), and one younger brother (Kenneth Richard). and little sister (Deborah Jean). Billy Graham was his spiritual role Model since his conversion at the age of 15. His father (Richard Thomas) was an executive of Florida Power corporation, and his mother (Peggy Jean) was a modest hardworking productive Housewife. He went to grade school and high school in the same city. Robert Married his high school sweetheart Brenda Lea Sponsler and together they have one son Matthew Daniel. Bob joined the Navy like his father before him; he is a 75-year-old Veteran who served his country for 36 years as a naval officer serving campaigns of duty in Vietnam, Desert Storm and operation Enduring Freedom then retiring as a commander. Bob received the calling for the gospel late in life following three wars and a careful examination of thoughts and feelings, particularly following difficult moral decisions after contemplating past actions; however, he enjoys studying this Discipline and writing regarding his candid views on Christianity. He trusts others will appreciate his research. He got his bachelor's degree From Baptist college of Florida at the age of 65. He was ordinand a Baptist pastor at Shenandoah Baptist church in Orlando in 2015 and serves as a Volunteer chaplain at Crossville community hospital in Tennessee. He enjoys camping and the country outdoors as a leisure hobby. Subsequently he moved his family to Tennessee in 2019, where he acquired the nickname the COWBOY CHAPLAIN.
