She is the author of two books, From Russia to the Reservation and Far From the Forest. Her influential essays, short stories, and poetry have been published by the University of Nebraska Press, University of Minnesota Press, CAIRNS Press, Wíčazo Sa Review, and Studies in American Indian Literature.
