Overview

USAF pilot Todd Stewart has been offered an amazing opportunity: an exchange tour with the Dutch Air Force. Though his new assignment puts an ocean between him and Lizzie Campbell, the British nurse he's fallen madly in love with, he's certain they'll find a way to be together again. But Todd's plans go awry when his F-16 catches fire during a NATO exercise. He bails out near the Ardennes Forest in France-and wakes up to find himself in 1944. Once his initial confusion passes, Todd is determined to get back to his own timeline, and to Lizzie. Complications arise, however, when he's inexplicably drawn to Sarah, the nurse who cares for him during his recovery. Author and adventurer Tim Tarris was an instructor in the US Air Force, training pilots to fly F-111s, F-16s, and A-7s. After thirty years of service, he flew various private, corporate, and commercial aircraft. Now retired, Colonel Tarris is a member of Daedalians, a fraternal and professional order of American military pilots. A supporter of various other veterans' groups and causes, he was instrumental in the construction of a veterans' memorial in his boyhood hometown. He and his wife, Vicky, reside in Oro Valley, Arizona.
