The two animals were playing at a pond and decided to play on the water, only to fall in. Oliver can't swim and the story of his rescue is the focus of the book. Mikey, Greta and some of their friends finally get Oliver to safety. Their confidence and resourcefulness helps Oliver muster up needed courage to do his part to be in place for rescue. Finley is a recipient of the prestigious Moms Choice Award and Purple Dragonfly Award for several of her books. She lives with her husband on their farm in the rural township of Wilton California. They have bred horses for the dressage and jumping rings. Finley continues to ride her young mare and tends to their three dogs, many, many cats as well as chickens and two darling ducks.
