Overview

Chris Morgan, a personal trainer from Texas, relocates to Redding, California, to pursue his dream of competing on American Ninja Warrior. A devout Christian involved in mission work, Chris maintains peak physical condition. While assisting with Hurricane Katrina relief in New Orleans, he encounters Jack Grimes, a bar owner who harbors a significant secret. Jack is the Keeper, the last in a lineage of guardians that have existed for over a thousand years, tasked with maintaining peace between angels and demons. Recognizing the goodness in Chris, Jack chooses him as his successor. After much internal conflict regarding this heavy legacy, Chris ultimately accepts the mantle, inheriting the Keeper's powers and responsibilities.
