In the fantastical world of Atlastova, nestled in the Mortal Realm, an enchantment lay grounded in a liminal space, hidden from the view of Ekklips, God of Dark. Meridan's sacrifice, coupled with her plea for forgiveness from the God of Life, aided the upbringing of her daughter, Mora, for five and twenty years. After a dire omen, and fearful the protection spell has become weakened, Meridan removes Mora from their sanctuary, traveling beyond the forbidden forest line. An ambiguous encounter with an ethereal being causes Mora to question her mother's motives, intentions, and her own very existence. She finds herself torn between the sheltered life she lived and the seductive grasp of a dark entity who seeks to control her mind and body. Suddenly finding herself in the presence of a new-found friend, Bog, he convinces her she must travel with him to his homeland of Borgoria for answers to her perplexing and compelling questions. As the journey continues north, ridiculous accusations about her origins torment her being, heavy upon her shoulders with the weight of All. Enigmatic creaturals, hostile environments, deadly secrets, and prophetic allusions taunt their progress. Without warning, she traverses through strange spaces, confronted by creaturals unlike herself who baffle her senses and wreak havoc on her mind. Already plagued with abnormal dreams, uncertainty about whom she can trust makes her more desperate for answers. While her heart and mind steadily conflict, chaos continues to mysteriously pervade the land, fiercely shredding at the veil with its sharp, deadly claws as the pursuit of Ekklips grows with vehemence. Both chaos and darkness vie for her full attention, both feeling despairingly like they are terrifying extensions of her own being.
