The Judds were a Grammy Award-winning American country music duo composed of Naomi Judd and her daughter, Wynonna. The Judds signed with RCA Records in 1983 and were one of the most popular country music duos of the decade, recording more than ten studio albums and charting many hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles (now Hot Country Songs) charts, including fourteen Number Ones. From 1984, every album was a collaboration with producer Brent Maher and the prolific Nashville musician Don Potter.
