Author Information

Euclid Herie was born in Manitoba in 1939 with congenital cataracts. When he was 16, his eyesight failed. He attended the School for the Blind in Brantford and then studied social work at the University of Manitoba. He began working for the CNIB in 1977, was appointed managing director in 1983, and retired in 21.
