The Journey to Humanity's Last Hope

Overview

Nearly two centuries have passed and the world of humanity should be flourishing and entering a new age of prosperity, but a new emergent species has shifted their trajectory. Now in the age of 2202 Humans no longer rule the planet but instead share it with a new rival predator. Monsters roam the earth who hunger only for human flesh. The monsters have shattered the rules, and laws of society bringing instead an older more ancient creed of predator and prey. Cade Gray is only a thirteen year old boy given the responsibility of taking care of his newborn sister, he's been trained since he could walk to survive in this new world but in the age of monsters he'll need to use every ounce of his skills to make the journey to a land supposedly free of monsters where families can thrive where he can be normal a land called Humanity's Last Hope. The Journey to this land is wrought with danger, with all sorts of monsters that hunger for his flesh and Raiders, a dangerous group who out of the wreckage of the old world acquired their weapons, but who have a reputation of engaging in the most ruthless of actions, by stealing or killing other survivors they run into. If Cade runs into the Raiders it would be no different from a monster. Cade will need to make allies and he'll need to discover what he wants if he's to give his sister and himself the life they deserve one mistake and it could be Cade's last.
