OverviewFollowing years of relatively unconventional working experiences - including training owls for films and storing human remains, I concentrated primarily on writing stories and poetry to encourage the hands on the clock to turn faster. This is the fifth book in David's series of short stories. As in previous books David has drawn the subject matter of each story from personal experience. David's autism made it difficult for him to write with total imagination, he could only produce a story line from something he has personally touched. That is to say something he has personally experienced or perhaps an experience narrated to him by a friend. To some degree this makes the stories all the more real and sometimes poignant. In many of the stories it may be possible for the reader to sense the difficulty that a person who suffers from autism has in describing personal feelings. They are probably different from those experienced by you and I.
