Bill has been an educator, coach, and public speaker in different settings in Belize, Guatemala, Peru, France, and the USA. He has taught and spoken in the public and private sectors. He has facilitated the learning process with people age eight to age seventy-six, including Guatemalan children and adults in Corporate America and France. Bill is an author. He's grateful. He looks around and says: Is this amazing or what?. He has had many influential role models over the years. Bill is an accomplished triathlete - eight Ironmans. He has a personal best of 1:00.29 at the Sprint distance and 10:34.46 at the Ironman distance. Bill has lived on three continents. He enjoys family, friends, and being fit at his farm in the foothills of the Pyrenees in France, and at Ruger Ridge in Arizona, in the USA. Who's Louise? Louise was born in Nicetown, Pennsylvania (PA). She attended Philadelphia Public Schools and graduated from the Abington School District while living in Roslyn, PA. Aspiring to be an florist, she took Distributive Education courses in high school and worked in a flower shop as part of the program. Louise was president of the Future Business Leaders of America at her school. In the summer of 1957, she met Stan Travis (Doc) a pre-med student at LaSalle College in Philadelphia. They fell in love. To save money for their wedding in June 1962, Louise sacrificed her career as a florist and took a job as a sales rep with Bell Telephone. Stan (Doc) was studying at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (P.C.O.M.). In November 1963, Stan Travis III was born. After Doc graduated from P.C.O.M. they moved to Michigan for his internship where their second son David was born in December 1964. They moved to Horsham, PA in 1967 where Doc opened his family practice. Doc continues to practice here today. Their third son Kevin arrived in August 1968. The Horsham area was and continues to be a very close community of people and families. Louise became and still is involved in this community: family, home, church, and of course gardening!
