OverviewThe Journal of Sofi is about a 31-year-old BRCA1 gene carrier. Those with the gene have an increased risk for breast cancer and ovarian cancer. The story begins when she hears the result of a DNA test, and in this story she relates her experiences at the hospital. How will she cope with the possible removal of her breast and her ovaries?
