I was set on doing it for my Swedish ancestors. But, near the end I wanted to do more! I wanted to show the story ""under construction"". I wanted to ""pop the hood"" and show the reader how the story was constructed and the process it went through to become THE JORMUNGANDR, My desire was to create and share something different and unique. I wanted to share something with my readers, something that they hadn't seen before, and probably wouldn't see again. I wanted to share the ""Mona Lisa"" before Leonardo had put the last strokes of paint on the canvas. I wanted to share the STATUE OF DAVID, before Michaelangelo had pounded off the last few chunks of stone! I wanted to show my readers the Statue of Liberty before she slipped her thongs on! My goal wasn't a first edition, but a PRE=FIRST EDITION! I wanted to make THE JORMUNGANDR different from any other book on the shelf! I'm presenting my attempt to show you behind the scenes of the creation of my life's ambition to do something very unusual. This is my ""stab at it""! I also decided that I would print this unusual book in hard cover! I hope you enjoy my story and I can tell you that it is complete. When and if there is ever another edition, the story will be exactly the same. I wanted my creation to be different from anything in your collection or on your bookshelf!
