A major contribution ...' C. King, Choice 'This book has a good thematic focus, and the short summaries at the beginning of each part are helpful. A wide range of different studies are presented, and the reader will learn much about Apulian red-figure pottery as well as gain further insights into Italic culture of the fourth century. A useful addition, particularly for a book focusing on vases, is an online site (www.cambridge.org/apulia) including illustrations found in the book (many in color) as well as many additional images.'
