Reviews

'It was a pleasure to read, with an attractive style and some engaging asides, and illustrated with several maps and charts ... When I first began teaching biblical studies forty years ago I should have welcomed this as a user friendly introductionfor students' - Richard Coggins, The Expository Times 'This account is straightfoward and accessible.' - International Review of Biblical Studies 'This is a carefully produced book which has a good range of maps and illustrations.' - M.E. Mills, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament
