OverviewThe story of two young people whose love will inspire generations to come. Sorcha Mullen has always been drawn to the front lines--the narrow streets of Belfast, the cry of newborns, the fierce heartbeat of a city that refuses to break... But when she crosses paths with Sean O'Brien--a Dublin Garda with a poet's soul, strong ties to his native homeland, and his family's legacy of finding one true love--she begins to wonder if there's more to life than survival. They come from two vastly different Irelands, sharing a border, but worlds apart. Yet their attraction is undeniable--instant, electric, impossible to ignore. Sorcha has built walls around her heart. She's seen too much. Risked too much. And loving a man who wants all of her terrifies her more than any bomb ever could. When violence erupts across Belfast and Sorcha finds herself trapped on the wrong side of the peace walls, Sean must travel into a war zone to rescue the only woman he'll ever love. A sweeping, emotional romance about courage, sacrifice, and finding your way home through the fire. Perfect for fans of Jean Grainger and Rhys Bowen. It's like having to say goodbye to friends that you know you won't be seeing for awhile."" Reader review, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Author InformationStacey Reynolds started writing her first novel, _Raven of the Sea_, in 2015. She was inspired by the beautiful villages of Ireland's west coast--the traditional music, the architecture, the lighthouses, and crumbling ruins. It lit a spark in her that would smolder for years until she was ready. She was a military wife and mother of 5. With a special needs child at home, she began writing at the public library during her son's therapy sessions. Before she married an officer in the Marines, she was a police officer. Her experience in law enforcement aids her in writing from the perspective of a first responder. It also helps with the procedural aspects of some of her stories. She loves what she does. She finds inspiration through traveling, reading, art, and music. She tries to write with the honest and often raw emotions that come from loving and losing.
