Overview

Considering the increase in corporate crime, inter alia Fraud and corruption committed by companies across South Africa, the focus is now squarely on the ability and capacity of Goverment Investigative Agencies to investigate these crimes. Inlight of the aforesaid, this book seeks to give a brief overview of the need for effective and sound investigative practices within the Agencies. Since investigators attached to these Agencies are presumed to be all trained professionals within their respective diciplnies and legislative frame works, this book does not intend to elaborate on particular investigation techniques, but rather on those basic aspects which may very often be overlooked or taken for granted
