Reviews

An indispensable book for researchers and policymakers interested in the topic... I hope that it will inspire accounts of the Internet and business in other parts of the world. -- Gerard Goggin, Prometheus The editors of this ambitious book have assembled 15 contributors who together effectively portray the commercialization of the Internet and its impact on American business. The contributors, journalism and mass communication professors, business school professors, historians of technology, science and technology scholars, and business consultants, provide the breadth of expertise necessary to capture the tumultuous period under study. Highly recommended. -- R. C. Singleton, Choice Reviews Online
