He has extensive overseas experience, including a lengthy period as a professor in McGill University, Montreal, and travels extensively in continental Europe, the Far East and Australasia in connection with his work. Currently Professor of Commercial Law at UCL, he was previously a professor at the University of Nottingham and at McGill University, Montreal. He is the author of numerous books in the field of commercial law, and many articles and chapters in leading journals and collections.
