Overview

When Iran's top anchorwoman, Raji, collides with a Jewish American agent, Myk, it unlocks an unknown labyrinth to a linked history. An explosion in a parking garage in Beirut leaves two-year-old Raji motherless and under the thumb of her infamous bomb-maker father. Raised in Iran, a country where the laws and culture are already stacked against her, she refuses to conform. When Raji's son, Yasser, is murdered by a bullet that is meant for Myk at a crowded plaza in San Francisco, the tragedy creates a vortex that pulls Raji and Myk together in pursuit of the same enemy. Tom Fitzgerald is a graduate of Arizona State University and author of Defector in Our Midst. He began his career at a large accounting firm in Phoenix. With an itch to be more creative, Tom left accounting to found his own luxury home building company in Scottsdale in 1999.
