Table of ContentsReviewsFollow the in-depth story of the influence of Japanese art on the Gilded Age, with this readable text and excellent illustrations. This is a history and art book combined with the rationale behind the art explained. I love Japanese art so I found this book very interesting. Some of the illustrations are rather small but there are many of them. All kinds of artefacts are covered in this work. More than a coffee table book, this is a scholarly work for those seriously interested in Japanese art.--Karen Platt www.karenplatt.co.uk/reviews (09/21/2010) Follow the in-depth story of the influence of Japanese art on the Gilded Age, with this readable text and excellent illustrations.
