Teacher, painter, sculptor and illustrator, Nicolas Rebord (REN) is a Swiss native of the Valais region in the heart of the Alps. His work transports us to the worlds he traverses. He draws inspiration from commonplace situations, little things in everyday life, small pleasures, and great misfortunes. He plays on the paradoxes of life-this life which gives him all the material he wants. Humour is present and envelops absurdity, grief, happiness, life... Through his works, he sends us images: sometimes flattering, sometimes sharp, but always without concession. The artist proposes here a book that plunges us into the heart of the banal, to the centre of the little things that make up the world.
