Overview

The Incredible Rockhead and the Spectacular Scissorlegz team up to tackle a task far greater than either has ever known! Their mission: to seek out and defeat the man behind countless evil experiments, the mutant-making General himself. Upon arriving at his secret headquarters, the duo finds dozens of teenage mutants locked up like twisted science experiments -- and some of them aren't happy to have visitors. Unable to tell friend from foe, the two superheroes will have to fight through the ranks of the General's minions, and make some mutant friends, to have any chance at defeating their sinister creator.

Born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado, Scott Nickel works by day at Paws, inc., Jim Davis's famous Garfield studio, and he freelances by night. Burning the midnight oil, Scott has created hundreds of humorous greeting cards and written several children's books, short fiction for ""Boys' Life"" magazine, comic strips, and lots of really funny knock-knock jokes. He was raised in southern California, but in 1995 Scott moved to Indiana, where he currently lives with his wife, two sons, six cats, and several sea monkeys. C.S. Jennings has been a freelance illustrator for over a decade. Jennings has created caricatures, editorial cartoons, greeting cards, t-shirt art, logos, children's book, card games - you name it. he also wrote and illustrated the children's picture book Animal Band. In 1994, he won an Addy Award for his work in advertising. Donald Lemke works as a children's book editor and writer. He has written dozens of books for young readers--from board books to middle-grade novels--that often include today's most popular characters, such as Batman, Superman, Scooby-Doo, and more. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his beloved family, which includes his wife, Amy, and their three growing-up-way-too-fast daughters.
