OverviewThis research examined the impact of corporate social responsibility on organizational performance. In the course of this study, 286 questionnaires were disturbed and 250 retrieve. The data collected and hypothesis stated in this work were analyzed using simple percentage and the chi-square statistical tool. Based on the analysis of the data, the following findings emerged: there is significant relationship between the extent of corporate social responsibility and organizational performance, and that the absence of a formal act of legislation accounts for weak performance of corporate social responsibility. It is recommended that organization should try as much as possible to engage in some corporate social responsibility programmes because it promotes both the image and performance of the organization, and that the government should implement an act guiding corporate social responsibility for the betterment and development of the economy.
