Author Information

With a father from Puerto Rico and an Irish mother, Annette M. Clayton grew up in a lively and diverse household. She has a master's degree in writing for children and young adults and has published over twenty-five books with more on the way. Annette lives in Maryland with her family. Paula Zamudio is an illustrator born and raised in the south of Mexico. She studied graphic design at a local university, then got a master's degree in illustration at UPV in Spain. Paula loves making art with special care for texture, color and gesture, and she is inspired by nature, fashion from different eras, fantasy, antiques, and her two cats.
