OverviewIn a time when Paris was shadowed by injustice, Esmeralda, a kind-hearted gypsy, enters the city to help her family. On Fool's Day, she captures the hearts of poet Gringoire and hunchback bell-ringer Quasimodo. Frollo, the King's cruel advisor, arrests Esmeralda for being a gypsy. With help from the Outcasts and a new printing press, Gringoire exposes Frollo's plot. Quasimodo protects Esmeralda in Notre Dame as they await rescue. A carrier pigeon guides Gringoire back to her, and the truth reaches the King. Frollo is arrested, peace returns, and Paris becomes the City of Light once again.
