He was licensed in six states. In 2005, the Utah State Bar named him ""Employment Lawyer of the Year,"" and in 2006, the J. Reuben Clark Law Society-Salt Lake Chapter named him ""Citizen Lawyer of the Year."" Since leaving the practice of law, Jathan has served as an organization development consultant and executive coach with a focus on workplace culture and human capital development.
