Author Information

John McNeill is a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest. Most of his professional life consisted of two different careers, one in the construction industry and the other as a professional firefighter paramedic. John began working in residential construction to work his way through college, at knack of completing projects and a detailed eye required for quality. John wanted to use his knowledge and experience in how houses are put together to educate homeowners. John has two children, a son Garrett who attends the University of Washington and a daughter Bailey, who is still in high school. In his spare time, John loves to find adventures in the outdoors, especially in the mountains. His interest ranges from snow skiing, mountaineering, rock climbing and kayaking.
