OverviewThis is a beautifully illustrated picture book journey through a hundred-year-old New Orleans home in both English and Spanish. Claudie lives in a house in the oldest part of New Orleans, a city where Mardi Gras beads dance in the breeze and every corner is steeped in history. Her home is a treasure trove of a hundred years’ worth of stories, some of which we cannot see, but only feel. Join Claudie as we explore the design and decoration of each room through her creative eye — and that of a certain spirit, whose suggestions, for the sake of historical preservation, are always considered. Written by a New Orleans enthusiast, The House, the Ghost, and Me is the perfect picture book for your little ones with a curious mind for interior design. This bilingual picture book will help them learn the importance of preservation while also empowering them to express their creativity – interior design with a not-so-spooky twist.
